Research Services and Professional Education (RS&PE) exists to facilitate City of Hope's research agenda. It includes departments devoted to budget and accounting, academic personnel, contract and grant pre- and post-award administration, professional education (including the graduate school and summer student programs), and protection of research subjects. The division is also responsible for administration of City of Hope Cancer Center-related research activities, shared resources supporting research, strategic planning, program development, and research policy development and implementation. Staff of the division work closely with institutional offices devoted to budget, finance, accounting, human resources, purchasing, accounts payable, information technology services, and facilities to ensure that the infrastructure needs of the research community are met.
